The ESG world

ESG factors are central to many of our businesses, including:

• investing in sustainable bond issues (Green, Social, Sustainable, Sustainability-Linked Bonds) from corporate issuers, governments and supranational entities;
• structuring and issuing investment certificates with underlying ESG indices or securities;
• contributing to the growth path of our corporate clients supporting them covering financial risks or with securitisations both linked to ESG factors or through M&A activities associated with sustainable business.

We support institutional investors in placing increased focus on sustainability through ESG factors (such as the risks and opportunities associated with climate change) by providing financial assessments and analyses that include ESG content.

Specifically, our financial research includes comment on the ESG approach taken by issuers in a paragraph entitled “ESG Focus”.

We encourage meetings on ESG issues between representatives of listed companies and investors, participating as an organiser and/or partner through a range of conferences and seminars with Italian and foreign listed companies.

These events are important opportunities for communication and visibility, especially for listed Italian SMEs, allowing companies to meet with domestic and international investors. During these meetings, the ESG objectives of the different companies are shared and discussed.
