LUZZATTI POP NPLS 2021: NPL GACS Multioriginator securitisation

Banca Akros acted as Arranger and Placement Agent in the NPL GACS Multioriginator securitisation transaction “LUZZATTI POP NPLS 2021”.

Coordinated by Luigi Luzzatti S.C.p.A., the 12 originator banks, mainly popular banks, sold to the securitization vehicle LUZZATTI POP NPLS 2021 S.R.L., a portfolio of non-performing loans for c. Euro 800 million gross book value.

The vehicle issued three classes of ABS notes: senior, mezzanine and junior. The senior notes obtained the BBB rating by DBRS Morningstar and ARC Ratings and will benefit from the guarantee of the Italian Government.

Thanks to this transaction, successfully closed in December, Banca Akros confirms its position as a reference player for derisking solutions implemented by the Italian medium and regional banks.
